 On upright and electric bass, banjo, guitar, and mandolin, Harry Aceto, from Ithaca, NY, is one of the busiest musicians on the scene, constantly in demand for his solid groove, tasty accompaniment, and inventive solos. He has sideman credits on 28 CDs, and performs in a wide variety of styles, including rock, folk, country, R&B, Jazz, Latin, Swing, and Ethnic music.
Since 1997, he has been a member of Jay Ungar & Molly Mason’s band SWINGOLOGY, and on the staff of their music & dance camp at Ashokan, in New York’s Catskill Mountain region.
Harry’s 40 years of experience have ranged from street-corner busking and playing square dances in a one-room schoolhouse in Paradise, Nova Scotia...to tuxedoed big band gigs in NYC’s Rainbow Room and Waldorf-Astoria (and everything in between!)

THE HOTFOOT CLUB & LINDY HOP HEAVEN, two hard-swinging 6-piece combos, well- loved by dancers coast to coast.
